Bauer Media at Cannes Lions 2025
The world鈥檚 media, tech and advertising industries united once again last week, for the global sensation that is Cannes Lions. Bauer Media welcomed industry guests to an exclusive morning event that centred on the transformative power of audio.
Held at the iconic Carlton Cannes, 鈥淏reakfast with Bauer Media鈥� was introduced by UK Managing Director Simon Kilby and brought together some of Bauer鈥檚 most beloved presenters 鈥� Greatest Hits star Martin鈥疜emp, podcast and KISS hosts Olivia鈥疉twood and Pete鈥疻icks, plus Kimberly鈥疻yatt, former Pussycat Doll and Hits Radio presenter.
The panel emphasised audio鈥檚 unique capacity to forge intimate connections with the audience and how audio is now a 360 medium, with visuals and events. Pete鈥疻icks and Olivia鈥疉twood brought their cheeky personalities to the event: the pair who launched new Kiss weekend show 鈥淭he Sunday Roast,鈥� spoke about fostering community through their platforms. Martin Kemp and Kimberly Wyatt shares stories of their memories of radio, from their successful music careers.
Bauer鈥檚 presence at Cannes also included a partnership with the Advertising Association and the UK Advertising Global Dinner, featuring a DJ set from Kimberly Wyatt on Carlton Beach.
